Military Experience
Lieutenant Colonel Charles “Chuck” Olsen served 20 years in the U.S. Army as a telecommunications officer and NATO liaison officer. He culminated his military career as the director of leadership training for the 181st Infantry Training Brigade where his team trained leaders from 125 mobilizing units for deployment during the 2006-2007 Surge. For the past 30 years, Chuck has mentored cadets and midshipmen as the advisor for the University of Wisconsin-Madison National Scabbard & Blade ROTC Honor Society.
Private Sector
Chuck also worked 20 years in the automotive industry as a marketing manager and director of sales and training. He still works full time meeting with hundreds of employers to help them create and establish successful apprenticeship programs. Chuk earned his MBA at UW-Madison in 2000 and resides in Richfield, Wisconsin with his wife of 25 years, Marjorie. He founded Richfield-Consulting in 2020 where he continues to fulfill his passion to train managers, aspiring leaders on processes, tips and tools to unlock their power to lead.
